Tread® smartphone app

Connect to your smartphone for an even better riding experience. For example, use the Tread® app to view your ride data, including your speed, accelerations, decelerations, altitudes, and share it via the app with your friends. You can also start group rides with this app. This allows you to accurately track where your friends are riding.

You can also easily send GPX files from your phone or a third-party device to your Zumo XT2 navigation device. In addition, you can share GPX files with other motorcyclists via the Tread® app.

Discover new areas by viewing popular motorcycle trails and using the Garmin Adventurous Routing™ feature to find the most beautiful curves. This feature guides you along the most exciting routes with hills, curves, and vistas, and you can also choose from four difficulty levels.

The device is equipped with the Green Guide and scenic roads from MICHELIN to help you find the most picturesque routes. With MICHELIN's scenic roads, you'll have unforgettable rides. You can easily integrate them into your journey using the visual route planner. Thanks to the pre-installed MICHELIN Green Guide, including images, detailed descriptions, and ratings, you'll know where it's worth stopping. Would you rather take a spontaneous ride? Then you can select the marked green route directly on the map and start immediately.

In addition to your own routes, you can also view popular motorcycle trails ridden by other motorcyclists to discover new and exciting routes. To keep you safe throughout the route, you'll receive warnings if there are hazards on the route, such as approaching sharp turns, speed changes, and more.

The Zumo XT2 includes preloaded topographic maps with three-dimensional terrain and road maps for Europe and the Middle East. For other areas, such as Africa with Tracks4Africa, North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand, maps can be downloaded for a fee via garmin.com/express.

Connectivity

With built-in WiFi3 connectivity, you can easily update your maps and software without a computer. When new updates are available, you will be notified on the screen.

By using the Tread® app, you get access to real-time traffic and weather information, share routes with other motorcyclists, and receive phone notifications.

In the event of an accident, an SMS message with location data is automatically sent to a pre-set contact person.
